Background
I started my ITSM career in 2007 with my apprenticeship to an IT Management assistant (Informatikkaufman, IHK certified) were I had to design, adapt and establish a CSI process — which included internal coaching regarding CSI for all the other process owners in the ITSM project.
After that project I switched sides — from the customer to the supplier — and from then on advised other customers in ITSM projects, not limited to CSI and based on ITIL Best Practices whose certificates where achieved in three courses and expertise built in many projects and over 10 years in experience in total.
But that wouldn’t be enough: I was always very curious about computers, started programming being 11 years old, wrote a 20 page paper on mobile device programming in Java for the A-level and always had side-projects mostly in JavaScript which I professionalized implementing a lot of project using ServiceNow® when I switched sides as described above.
Both, the very deep understanding of management and economical views and on technical issues sum up to a very beneficial combination for my customers which allows me not only to understand but also to translate between the two languages — bringing both sides together.
